So Marvelous Music

Marvin “So Marvelous” Paige is a seasoned music producer, singer, and composer whose career spans major-label recording, artist development, television, film, and music licensing. From working inside one of hip-hop’s most influential record labels to creating music heard on major television networks, Marvin brings decades of experience, musical instinct, and professionalism to every project.

Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Marvin discovered his passion for music at an early age. He developed his talents through local production teams and vocal groups before traveling the East Coast as a member of York Records’ singing group, The Studants.

While still in high school, Marvin joined Black Wax Productions through a mentoring program. Under the guidance of hip-hop producers Kyle “Majik” Jackson and Kriss Jackson, he learned the creative and business sides of music production. His talent and leadership eventually earned him the position of head of the company’s R&B division.

Marvin’s career reached another level when he was introduced to Uptown Records A&R executive Kurt Woodley. As a member of the R&B group Prime, Marvin signed with RCA Records and worked alongside members of the team responsible for developing artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Horace Brown, and Blackgirl.

In 1996, Marvin joined the legendary Death Row Records as an in-house producer. During his tenure, he created music for artists including Michel’le and The Realest while gaining firsthand experience in world-class artistry, branding, production, and musicianship.

Marvin later expanded into television and film licensing, signing a music-library agreement with We3Kings. His work has been featured across NBC, MTV, Lifetime, BET, E!, Bravo, and other major networks and productions. He currently works with Morris & Young Music, home to his largest and most current catalog of licensable music.
